Phosphor-Imager Typhoon - GE
The Typhoon™ laser scanners are flexible and versatile tools that researchers have relied on for various applications over the years. They are used for:Phosphor imaging to detect low levels of radioactivity in DNA, RNA, and other biomolecules.Fluorescence imaging in RGB and NIR wavelengths for analyzing gels and blots, such as Northern, Southern, and Western blotting, and 2D DIGE.High-resolution imaging of tissue sections using fluorescence or radioactive probes.Specialized tasks including microarrays, gel-shift assays (EMSA), and scanning multiwell plates, which require high resolution, sensitivity, and large scan areas.
